To meet the increasing demand of our expertise in engineering, we have now an opportunity for a Site Manager – Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) with experience ranging from 15 – 20 years to join the Nuclear and Power team at our AtkinsRéalis India offices. We are particularly interested in individuals with reasonable consultancy experience in commissioning of plants with site experience and implementation of engineering changes/system upgrades in green and brown field projects. The person should be experienced in leading the team with QA/QC experience in the Plant site.

Responsibilities

  • The work is varied and may include some or all the responsibilities mentioned below:
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick and appropriate decisions.
  • Develop & implement & maintain Quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that products and processes comply with defined standards.
  • Create quality plans and strategies for projects, including setting quality goals and objectives.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify compliance issues and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including quality manuals, records, and reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Identify potential risks and quality issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor customer feedback and complaints to identify areas for quality improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee site inspection and testing to identify defects or non-conformance with quality standards.
  • Implement process controls to ensure that site works follows established quality standards.
  • Investigate and analyse defects or deviations from quality standards, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyse data and make informed quality-related decisions.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and instruments to ensure accurate measurements and consistent quality.
  • Evaluate the quality of materials or components received from suppliers and work with them to resolve quality issues.
  • Ability to understand and define client’s requirements, plan & schedule deliverables, timelines.
  • Strong delivery culture, ability to multi-task, resource management, delegate tasks, develop and deliver cost/time-effective solutions.
  • Flexible to relocate to AtkinsRéalis India Office Locations (Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai) flexible in travelling to AtkinsRéalis’ and client’s office locations around the world, if required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience with QA.QC is needed in relevant field with a minimum of Bachelor’s degree have Graduation in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering.
  • Technical Knowledge of QMS / ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
  • Must have effective communication skills to execute quality programs and communicate with employees at all levels of the plant.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick and appropriate decisions.
  • Experience in developing and implementation of Quality Plans, strategies for projects and quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that products and processes comply with defined standards.
  • Experience in conducting the audits and assessments as per Quality assurance policies.
  • Experience in creating the continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Experience in Identifying the potential risks and quality issues in the Plant / Site and develop the necessary mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in utilizing the statistical tools and methodologies to analyse data and make informed quality-related decisions for the Plant.
  • Experience in quality inspections for the materials evaluation or components received from suppliers.
  • Experience or exposure to project management principles desirable.
  • Ability to understand and define client’s requirements, plan & schedule deliverables, timelines.
  • Strong delivery culture, ability to multi-task, resource management, delegate tasks, develop and deliver cost/time-effective solutions.
  • Flexible to relocate to AtkinsRéalis India Office Locations (Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai) flexible in travelling to AtkinsRéalis’ and client’s office locations around the world, if required.
