Overview

The Brand Marketing Manager will assist the Marketing Team in delivering 360 Integrated Marketing campaigns that provide an engaging customer experience and meet overall business objectives. They will be responsible for coordinating the workflow and communication between cross-functional partners in the planning, development, and execution stages of marketing campaigns by facilitating meetings, following up with partners, and providing creative solutions to potential roadblocks. This person will be a champion in bringing new ideas to the team as our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities. They will have a passion for integrated marketing communications and take a 360 approach to sharing compelling brand narratives that support business objectives

Responsibilities

Campaigns

  • Assist Senior Brand Marketing Manager in the development of annual and seasonal marketing strategies and Roadmap that help build the brand, grow subscribers, reinforce the brand positioning and above all, drive awareness.
  • Strategize, ideate, and oversee execution of marketing tactics to support full funnel campaigns, always keeping the customer perspective in mind .
  • Lead execution of Seasonal Always On briefing process for Brand Marketing channels.
  • Work with cross-functional Marketing leads and Creative team to develop strategic campaign communication plans that effectively communicate brand messages & objectives.
  • Manage communication with cross-channel marketing partners and creative teams to ensure alignment on campaigns , providing succinct and regular updates cross-functionally.
  • Partner with Project Manager on the briefing process, and project manage campaigns across cross-functional teams, looking for opportunities to optimize the tools and processes to brief in teams and deliver work in the most efficient manner.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns, including Creative, Social, CRM, PR, Buying, Product & UX, Creative Operations and Merchandising
  • Lead after action reporting process for marketing campaigns, working with cross-functional partners to develop succinct hindsights with actionable takeaways.
  • Be a champion in bringing new ideas to the team as our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities .
  • For experiential initiatives for VIPs and Community, assist in producing and managing all activations that support marketing goals.

External Brand Partnerships & Product Collaborations

  • Work in tandem with Senior Brand Marketing Manager to ideate compelling, 360 degree cross-promotional partnerships for Nuuly exclusives, Nuuly brand co-marketing initiatives, and Nuuly B2B Brand Partnerships.
  • Act as Project Manager, partnering with Creative Operations team to develop and closely monitor detailed timelines for all brand partnerships, and experiential activations
  • Negotiate and review co-marketing & partnership SOWs and contracts, working with Legal as needed and ensuring that all confirmed deliverables within are upheld accordingly
  • Lead development of co-marketing & partnership briefs and ensure all respective needs are being clearly and effectively communicated.
  • Analyze partnership results to determine success and the future of the relationship/inform future decisions.
  • Grow and nurture relationships with key cross-functional teams to optimize partnerships, including Creative, Social, CRM, Buying, Creative Operations and Merchandising.

Gifting

  • Own & manage Nuuly’s in-house gifting program, which includes monthly gifting campaigns to Influencers, VIPS & Editors that are aligned with calendar activations, working hand in hand with Influencer Marketing team to identify target audience.
  • Oversee execution of gifting, which includes ordering, packing, and shipping of gifts.

Press

  • Assist Senior Brand Marketing Manager with day-to-day PR agency requests to facilitate.
  • Manage in-bound PR requests, promptly communicating all needs to internal/external partners.
  • Prepare internal fact sheets for marketing initiatives, collaborations, and other activations, and act as key communicator of Nuuly Marketing Roadmap initiatives to PR agency.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 6 years of experience in Brand or Influencer Marketing, or related role
  • A charismatic and proactive style of communication desired for external communication
  • Strong organization skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of cross-functional partners across multiple teams
  • Hunger for brainstorming/ideating new and exciting external partners in complementary industries
  • General awareness of/experience working with media companies and partners a plus
  • Motivated by curiosity, whether solving a problem, pursuing a new experience, or seeking creative inspiration
  • A proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
  • Results-driven, solution-oriented, flexible, self-driving, and must have the ability to change course quickly, think big and start small, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Skills

  • Understands marketing KPIs and the marketing funnel.
  • Self-starter and strong team player who can act as both a collaborator and an owner/leader.
  • Flexibility in a start-up-like environment is critical. Must be willing to both think strategically and roll up sleeves as needed. Must be flexible when business priorities change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to present and inspire.
  • Strong project management, process management and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, and experience manipulating data.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, Business, or a related field.
