What is the position? Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Director or Vice President to support its International Political Affairs and Public Policy team located in Washington DC.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize in written reports, oral briefings, and PowerPoint presentations the market impact of United States and international policy matters in a wide range of areas including tax, budget, budget, energy transition, and trade.
  • Assess policy implications of United States elections in areas of interest to worldwide markets.
  • Identify and recruit policy experts for webinars and other client presentations
  • Report to Chief Strategist for International Political Affairs and Public Policy

Specific Qualifications: The ideal candidates are highly motivated, curious individuals with a strong work ethic, and candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience working directly on national and/or international policy issues
  • Outstanding writer, excellent communication skills, and highly proficient in PowerPoint
  • A. required
  • Work out of Washington, D.C. office (Monday to Thursday in office, Friday work from home)
  • Action oriented, high energy, quick and independent thinker
