In this role, you will perform training needs analysis, and partner with SMEs to develop and design courses and curricula while applying proven methodologies in instructional design. This role will build user-centric learning activities, assignments, and assessments, as well as craft outstanding learning materials. You will design eLearning and storyboards, and develop instructor manuals, rubrics, and other instructional tools. You will analyze, update and refine existing content as well as write scripts for video and audio content while working alongside a fun and engaging team.

You will be trusted to:

• Builds strong relationships with subject matter experts to develop and design learning solutions
• Defines and documents learning objectives
• Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments that serve to optimize learning
• Keeps current on best practices in instructional design
• Creates instructional materials
• Creates learning experiences and environments

You qualify with:

• Six or more years of experience in the design, delivery and implementation of technical training and or learning and development. A degree(s) in education, electrical systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver’s license

• Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Skill in establishing credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization
• Intermediate skill in applying best practices and new trends in a practical way that appropriately fits the organization
• Intermediate skill in effectively partnering with leaders to design ad hoc/custom learning and development solutions
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written to all levels of an organization
• Skill in using learning management systems
