LCRA TSC's Structural and Civil Engineering group currently has an opportunity for an expert, dedicated, professional that has experience in structural or civil engineering, designing, and overseeing of construction projects. We want you to bring your outside experience to support LCRA in a fast-paced inspiring work culture. You will join a team that is responsible for outsourced projects from the design phase to construction completion. You will be directly involved with substation projects across Texas that improve the quality of life of the communities we serve. We are a group that thrives on finding innovative ways to accomplish our work, improve processes and interact collaboratively with various colleagues across the organization.
Our primary function is to support the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical substations owned by both LCRA and LCRA TSC. In this effort, we scope and design all the structural and civil components associated with all new substations and expansions. We also support the land acquisition of access roads and property for all new substation projects and expansions.
You will be trusted to:
You qualify with:
Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science plus four or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job. Driver’s license
