The India Delivery Center is part of the Oracle Utilities Global Delivery Consulting group that partners with the regional consulting centers in delivering the high performance Utilities solutions that increase our customers’ competitiveness. The delivery incorporates institutionalized methodologies in an offshore environment whereby world-class talent is developed through mature standards and processes. The Oracle Utilities Global Delivery Consulting group continues to improve its core delivery value proposition through the recruitment and development of top technical talent.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced analytics consultant with hands-on experience with Oracle's various analytics solutions and tools to join our team to help Oracle clients in their business analytics implementation projects. A rapid increase in our customers' desire to migrate their analytics solutions to Oracle Cloud has meant an increase in demand for Oracle Consulting business.

KEY OBJECTIVE

  • Candidates should have at least five years of consulting and/or professional experience implementing and building analytics reports and solutions using Oracle solutions. Ideally, this is with one or more of Oracle's solutions: Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Visualization Cloud Service (DVCS), Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Machine Learning (ML).

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provision, configure, and perform rapid start implementations of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
  • Install, configure and customize Oracle's pre-built analytics applications.
  • Understand business needs and use cases and customize delivered Oracle Analytics functionality to meet customer's analytics reporting needs.
  • Plan, define, design, develop, test, implement and support primarily Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) data modelling, dashboard and report activities.
  • Load data using Oracle integration and ETL tools. 
  • Analyze, cleanse and load data. 
  • Configuring out of the box functionality. 
  • Analyze and organize customer data and build reports/dashboards to meet requirements. 
  • Develop/review detailed estimates for design and development phases based on functional requirements.
  • Work with the Project Manager to create a budget and project plan for the internal design, development, testing, and support effort.
  • Perform quality and functional reviews during the design and development phases 
  • Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

(Indicate the essential experience, qualifications and attributes required to perform this position effectively)

  • University degree in Engineering in IT, Computer Science, or any of its equivalents. Beach / BE / BS / MS preferred.
  • At least 8 years enterprise software design development experience, preferably in a multi-national organization
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing analytics, data warehouse, integration/ETL, and data visualization solutions preferably with Oracle's analytics cloud suite.
  • Experience in OUAW (Oracle Utilities Analytics Warehouse) and/or OUAV (Oracle Utilities Analytics Visualization) for Oracle Energy and Water products is a plus
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) certification is a plus. 
  • Understanding of Utilities domain business processes is a plus
  • Knowledge in any Customer Management and Billing System a plus
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
