Job Summary

As a Senior Content Designer in Auto Lending you will be part of a multi-discplinary product design team, collaborating with UX design, research, product, engineering, and data partners through every phase of the product design process. We work in sprints with an understand, explore, test and iterate approach. While collaborating in all aspects of product design, you will focus on planning, structuring, creating, and delivering the content that shapes our customer experiences. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop content requirements 
  • Plan, create and deliver content (UI copy, FAQs, etc.) across Chase Auto
  • You will use data, research and heuristics to assess and maximize content impact
  • Contribute to the structural design of product experience (navigation, labels, flows)
  • Lead adherence in content governance and approvals process
  • Collaborate to evolve content standards (voice, tone, accessibility libraries, etc.)
  • Partner with designers to explore design solutions and create iterative prototypes

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 3 years of experience in content design or UX writing for in-house product or digital agency teams, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced skills in UX Writing and Information Architecture; Intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, Interaction Design, and Visual UI Design
  • Advanced understanding of storytelling and narrative structure, and a clear perspective on how they apply to UX design
  • Self-directed in planning and executing your work (you don’t need someone guiding you through a project)
  • Experience collaborating with product designers, researchers, product managers and engineers
  • Experience working with brand and copy standards, including style, voice and tone
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex design decisions to cross-functional partners and leaders, respond to and incorporate feedback, and to align everyone on the best possible solution

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Design multiple successful digital products and can measure content impact through data
  • Experience using empathy to arrive at unique insights from data and research; and applying those insights to solve customer problems and achieve business goals
  • Familiarity with the organizational navigation required for content compliance, including legal and accessibility reviews
