Job Summary ( Purpose) :

As a member of the Digital Hub, the Senior eContent Designer will be responsible for acting with agility; adapting and crafting marketing content and compelling assets that support in driving conversion, acquisition and dedication. This position offers phenomenal variety, with content that includes but not limited to; eCommerce Content (unique Bespoke Thumbnails, PDP Page creation & Optimisation Above The Fold and Below The Fold, brand pages on retailer websites), omnichannel campaigns (Resizing banners and video/ animation creation, customer social media), Colgate-Palmolive (CP) own website digital assets, NPD mock-ups for digital A/B testing and more. 

Reporting to the Impactful Brand Experience Lead. This role will lead, manage and mentor the eContent Designer. They will be working closely with the Online Marketing Manager, the eComm Customer Development team and Brand Managers, this person will ensure outstanding creation & adaptations of Colgate-Palmolive Content. 

Be responsible for leading and championing the design work internally to all team members.

There will be adjustment for duties and responsibilities as the business needs evolve and depending on capability of the candidate.

Main Responsibilities: 

eCommerce/Digital Content (65%): 

  • Creative adaptation of global and local assets to build eCommerce and digital content (unique Bespoke Thumbnails, PDP Page creation & Optimisation Above The Fold and Below The Fold, brand pages on retailer websites), omnichannel campaigns (Resizing banners and video/ animation creation, customer social media), CP own website digital assets, NPD mock-ups for digital A/B testing. 
  • Setting, sharing, and maintaining content standard methodologies.

Social Media and Search Content (20%): 

  • Supporting the creation of social media and search related content, both video and static, to bring to life the social media and search strategies for CP

Strong Collaboration (10%): 

  • Collaborating in meetings and working closely with Brand Team, Digital Marketing team, eComm Customer Marketing team & Key Retailers. Understanding both brand guidelines and objectives, finding the outcome where everybody wins. Sourcing existing assets from AU / APAC Division through our partner agencies.

Content Platforms (5%): 

  • Configuring & uploading content to platforms (retailers / SKUvantage / CP platforms)

Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc)

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in graphic/motion design working for consumer brands.
  • Strong experience in design/ video software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere etc.
  • Experience working within a digital asset management workflow.
  • Understanding of design principles in both digital and print formats 
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS coding, as well as adaptable web design on both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel knowledge a plus
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • CPG experience preferred, but not required.
