A person having profound knowledge and understanding of Indian healthcare delivery system with information on procurement process of medical essentials at all levels.

Prerequisites:

B.Pharm with minimum 1 year of professional experience in healthcare industry (Pharma or medical device industry). Should have worked with or know well about various medical associations and their key stakeholders. Knowledge of major public private health institutions in respective state. Understanding of process of procurement GOVT organizations. Competent and well versed in:

  • Tender management
  • Technical and commercial proposal development & submission
  • Channel partner/distributor development and management
  • Key opinion leader identification, engagement, development and management.
  • Stakeholder mapping and management.
  • Getting Rate contracts.
  • Key Account management

Should have had some exposure of procurement process of Directorate Health Services, Medical Education department, Public Health Dept., and ESI of states. Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy, and sales effort) and sales promotion program plans. Secure Product Growth Year on Year Responsible for managing the sales, training of end users & trouble shooting at existing installations, developing a business plan covering sale, revenue, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence in respective territory. Managing KOL at institutions and the corporate hospitals also will be targeting the Government hospitals.

Behavioral:

Conversant in English and Hindi, knowledge of other local languages is desirable. Presentable, team player. Adaptive and agile. Highly confident and believer of “best should not get in the way of good”. Easy going and flexible.

Technical:

Good knowledge and fair understanding of Indian diagnostics industry. Device and instrument industry Should be aware about developing market of Point of Care Industry and Segment. Knowledge of Govt health agendas, MMR, IMR, Indian Anemia status, Diabetes status and cardiovascular diseases status. Knowledge about health forums and platforms. Role of effective communication.
