ABOUT DIGICERT

We’re a leading, global security authority that’s disrupting our own category. Our encryption is trusted by the major ecommerce brands, the world’s largest companies, the major cloud providers, entire country financial systems, entire internets of things and even down to little things like surgically embedded pacemakers. We help companies put trust—an abstract idea—to work. That’s digital trust for the real world.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will create, implement, and optimize digital marketing strategies to drive revenue growth for our small business-focused ecommerce and SaaS brands.

This role is a good fit for marketers who have:

Experience driving revenue through digital marketing channels, especially through search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), digital advertising (PPC).

Web technology-fluency, able to understand and communicate about common web technology (web hosting, cybersecurity, web development, SSL, etc.).

Experience using data/analytics and A/B testing to drive growth (conversion rate optimization, conversion funnels, upselling/cross-selling, etc.).

You’ll get to work at a company where digital marketing is prioritized—it’s at the core of how we’ve built our company (for example, our websites get 600,000+ visits/month from SEO traffic).

Responsibilities:

  • Track digital marketing results, identify opportunities, and plan/prioritize digital marketing initiatives to focus efforts on our best opportunities.
  • Drive revenue by planning, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, especially funnel optimization (includes conversion rate optimization/CRO, upselling, cross-selling), search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
  • Implement and manage web analytics to track KPIs, identify growth opportunities, track and analyze user journeys, and provide the data to inform and guide growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to build and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns for product launches to drive sales opportunities and revenue.
  • Take an “always be testing” approach to continually drive sustainable growth. Continually manage, measure, and optimize digital marketing efforts to improve ROI/revenue results.
  • Optimize the sales copy and UX of ecommerce pages, landing pages, ad copy, and other elements of the user journey to improve conversion rates, average order value, and retention.
  • Work with our content team to track and optimize the results from our content strategies and publication (blogs, SEO content, sales copy, etc.).
  • Work cross-functionally as needed (with content, design, development, product, etc.) to plan and implement digital marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends, tactics, and strategies, to implement best practices in our marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of digital/demand generation/growth marketing experience, with an emphasis on driving measurable revenue.
  • T-shaped/full-stack digital marketer with in-depth experience in at least two of these areas: SEO, SEM/PPC, analytics, funnel/conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Relevant education (for example: bachelor’s degree in marketing; industry certifications such as CXL, Hubspot, MECLABS Institute, DigitalMarketer; or other relevant professional certifications or education).
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate marketing messages that drive conversions (copywriting, value proposition development, etc.).
  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, tech/cybersecurity, and/or ecommerce strongly preferred.
  • Experience using relevant marketing tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, HotJar, MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.
  • Experienced working with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Matomo Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, HotJar, etc. Comfortable analyzing data. Knowledge of other data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, or Python is helpful.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for lifelong learning. Wants to work in an agile technology company where project phases are measured in hours or days, not weeks or months.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization best practices, including sales copywriting, value proposition development, conversion funnel optimization, A/B testing, and multivariate testing is helpful.
  • Some basic hands-on web tech skills (HTML, WordPress, etc.) will be very helpful.
