Overview

As an Assistant Vice President in the Asset Services Team, you will be responsible for overseeing dividend and income payments across multiple custodians and multiple client bases. You will also be responsible for oversight of an ad-hoc conversion process that interacts with multiple custodians and transfer agents. You will ensure the team processes payments timely and accurately to clients and stakeholders; work with reconciliation teams as any questions come up post payment to ensure timely settlement. You will also be involved to help facilitate communication between various groups within the Bank, Agents, Depositories, and take on initiatives pertaining to Asset Services innovation strategies, UAT planning, user training, implementation, and production verification. Lead, coach, and develop individuals on the team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure payments are processed timely and accurately
• Escalate and encourage escalation within the team that can lead to risk for clients or the Firm
• Reporting metrics for run the Bank and change the Bank initiatives
• Act as a role model for the team and other business partners
• Foster collaboration and communication across team, develop, and coach employees

Your Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
• Relevant experience in a banking or financial services processing environment
• Experience with leading teams
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation, and maintain a broad understanding of the product offering
• Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving, Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal) as appropriate
