Sales Specialist

You will be working as Sales Specialist and will be part of Motion business area, Drive Products Services division based in Ahmedabad, India and will be reporting to Sales Manager. In this role you will be primarily responsible for the sales of products or systems or services within a designated market or division in line with the division strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, customer satisfaction and responsible to identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Achieving the sales target of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and water segment with in Gujarat for drive products division and primarly focus on light industries market through partners
  • Looking for new customer opportunitity untapped by ABB and achieving the order target month on month and collect the overdue in time
  • Working together with market manager, product sales managers for business growth. Preparing business plan for each focused market focused on activity
  • Continuously gaining knowledge on new applications to present ABB product advantages better and inhouse sales seminars with strong value proposition
  • Working closely with the partners for light industries and share success stories. Selling with proper product positioning and having full commitment to meet the budget numbers
  • Co-ordinating with service team for warranty and after sales support as needed and interacting regularly with CP/EPC/OEM’s sales engineer to drive them to meet committment
  • Preparing monthly MIS report and submiting to stake holders. Systematically tracking the key projects, customer activity and providing regular updates on business product line wise and market wise

Your background

  • BE/ BTech in electronics, electrical engineering or related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sales
  • Good knowledge on the Drives and Automation is preferred
  • Aggressive and result oriented, should know to sell volumes and values
  • Good communication skills
