Frontend Developer

Your role in a nutshell:

The Frontend Developer supports the Online Delivery department and develops web solutions for the website, e-commerce site and management portal of Vodafone Germany. This role will architect and develop websites and applications using different web technologies. Furthermore, the Senior Front-end Developer will focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of the code base for the front-end developer community. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and optimise web solutions for online users together with experienced developers from Vodafone Germany
  • Manage the development of the current website through the full lifecycle as part of an agile Scrum team
  • Coordinate all technical development activities
  • Develop solutions in close cooperation with product owners, UX, editorial, quality assurance and operations, from the initial idea to the launch of new functionalities
  • Support the development of an agile front-end delivery chain based on React in the context of DevOps, continuous deployment, and test automation
  • Take ownership of the developed code and share knowledge with other developers during code reviews with a focus on clean code principles and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in JavaScript
  • Strong know-how in React
  • Experience in delivering high-value projects, websites and presenting them to stakeholders
  • Agile-based software development, capability to write clean, well-documented code
  • Full proficiency in English
