Due to internal promotion, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced Manager Financial Controlling & Planning to join our dynamic Finance team! Reporting to the Controller, this role will be managing the activities in both financial controlling, planning and reporting for AU & NZ.

With the support of direct reports based in Australia and regionally, the role will support the markets’ financial controlling, planning and reporting related processes including but not limited to translating strategic and operational business plans into financial plans, supporting accurate and reliable financial statements and forecast by overseeing day-to-day activities in financial controlling, planning and reporting.

As the Manager Financial Controlling & Planning, you will be responsible to:

  • Analyse, forecast and report on key financial metrics relating to Inventory in conjunction with the Financial Controlling team;
  • Partner with our regional IBS (Integrated Business Support) team and local Supply Chain team on respective Finance related queries and issues within the domain;
  • Support Net Working Capital forecasts and variances to target;
  • Support and review of local, statutory reporting prepared by the IBS team;
  • Support the audit of internal Risk and Controls SOX testing and any external audit requests when required whilst ensuring a strong controls environment and adherence to all relevant SOX controls;
  • Act as the Finance contact point for any process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects, as well as providing ongoing support to ad-hoc queries as requested.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • CPA/CA qualification OR equivalent experience (Minimum 3+ years)
  • Financial Planning & Controlling experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Onshore & remote teams (Minimum 3+ years preferably)
  • Tertiary qualification in a Business or Finance related field
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and analysis)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • SAP and Power BI experience is highly desirable
