About the role

The Sr Analyst-Treasury Systems oversees the day-to-day activities for the Treasury Management System and helps develop and execute implementation of Finance and Treasury projects, primarily for Brazil and IO operations. This team member is responsible for all phases of projects from concept to post implementation review. Fully involved on understand Brazil regulations applicable to the company. This person is also participates in the strategic and operational decision-making process for the department.

What you need

  • Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Business administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in treasury systems experience
  • Knowledge of Brazil Regulations.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking and Capital Markets in Brazil.
  • Knowledge of credit and debit processing in finance or banking environment.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and cash management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel-Advanced.
  • SQL Query experience. Preference but not a must.
  • Experience with Treasury Workstations preferred.
  • Exposure to consumer lending, commercial lending, leasing or corporate banking.
  • Knowledge of Oracle. Preference but not a must.
  • Must have excellent English and Portuguese oral and written communication skills, Spanish-preference.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proven relevant experience of an international operating entity.
  • Knowledge of international debt instruments and conventions.
  • Ability to use good judgment in making decisions independently relating to daily bank activities.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management through daily interface and formal presentation.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Display commitment to continuous improvement of business.
  • Mathematical ability to calculate payments and reconcile payment postings.
  • Possess organizational skills.
  • Possess time management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in the banking/corporate environment.

What you will be doing

  • Oversees the successful execution of corporate and departmental initiatives for domestic and international operations.
  • Oversees treasury systems and projects related to cash flow, investments, debt, and capital management.
  • Assists the prioritization of projects within the department and allocate resources as needed.
  • Conducts and/or participates in meetings with different teams throughout the Organization to develop a solid understanding of upcoming and ongoing projects and the associated impact to the departments.
  • Reviews software, technical and functional requirements to ensure department requirements are thoroughly documented and supported.
  • Coordinates with the domestic and international financial institutions to implement services needed for projects.
  • Coordinates testing including developing test scripts, reviewing documentation and test results and communicating any issues to management, developers and business analysts.
  • Develops new business processes needed for project implementation.
  • Monitor Brazil regulations and assist with changes needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures.
