YOUR MISSION

Overview

Join PUMA North America’s Ecommerce team and play a strategic role in growing our business. This position will be responsible for all copy needs for PUMA.com, both US and Canada. As a core member of the Ecommerce team, this role will oversee the concept and creation of copy across a variety of needs, including but not limited to product features and benefits, site banners, emails, and performance marketing campaigns.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with ecommerce Buyers, Marketing and Content teams to plan and execute seasonal activations based on key brand stories, seasonality, forecasts, selling trends, and inventory investment. Activation touchpoints include Email marketing campaigns, on-site content, Main Navigation updates, Internal search optimizations, Product List Page merchandising.
  • Evaluates, maintains, and executes effective product categorization, attributes, sort orders, site search experience and categorization strategies that facilitate efficient search and browsing, reinforce a positive brand experience and support effective visual merchandising.
  • Analyze site experience and product presentation performance and make optimizations to enhance website conversion and revenue as it relates to site merchandising. Conduct and lead standard and ad hoc analysis depending on business needs and share results and recommendations with Merchandising and Content teams.
  • Support and manage digital selling channels: website and app, US & Canada, closely watching quality, functionality, and performance, catching issues and tackling break/fixes with a high level of urgency.
  • Lead Internal Search strategy. Through partnership with external vendors and conduct and present weekly analysis on key KPIs relating to search, trends in search that could inform on-site strategy as it relates to merchandising and content. Update merchandising team regularly on optimizations made and best practices.
  • Lead Product Recommender strategy. Conduct and present weekly analysis on existing product recommenders, optimize, implement new product recommenders, striving to maximize cross sell and upsell potential.
  • Actively participate in decision making regarding user experience, new features, new tools, and on-site marketing tactics, as they relate to merchandising.
  • Lead and conduct research on the marketplace and competitive set for best practices, trends, new ideas and actions to be taken related to the online consumer shopping experience and site presentation.
  • Provide feedback and suggest ideas, enhancements to management and peers on critical processes.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

YOUR TALENT

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in merchandising preferred
  • 5+ years’ Ecommerce site experience. Prior experience in footwear / apparel industry preferred but not required.
  • Has an expertise of the brand, its consumers, and its products to present a compelling story on site and maximize revenue
  • A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation to constantly be improving the PUMA online experience
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to both big and little details with an ability to respond to urgent requests and adapt to changes in business trend
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasks and be extremely organized
  • Proficient knowledge of web analytics and ecommerce KPIs and willingness and ability to learn new platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of ecommerce merchandising platforms and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office and excellent Excel skills
