The Assistant Vice President, Executive Compensation is responsible for executive compensation design and advisory responsibilities in support of AT&T’s corporate leadership. This role will serve as a key member of the AT&T Executive Compensation team working collaboratively with the Business Unit, Regulatory, Tax, Legal, and other subject matter experts to develop strategic plans that drive results. This position will have direct advisory responsibilities including, but not limited to the personal aspects of executive compensation to include formal job offers, benefit communications, and building trust at the highest levels. Key Responsibilities: - Manages executive compensation program design, development, and administration to contribute to the formulation of integrated HR strategies and models for total economics in support of the company's Executive Compensation and benefits strategies. - Consults on and develops special executive arrangements and contracts. - Manages the design, development, and operation of the company's market data process for the top executives. - Manages the accounting, tax, and regulatory aspects of executive compensation, and ensures integration of executive compensation and benefits designs. - Designs, implements, and administers strategically focused compensation programs for officers and key executives. Programs may include short- and long-term incentive plans, and special benefit programs for executives (such as supplemental retirement and deferred compensation). - Manages the communication to executives on their compensation. - Manages the administration of the company'sbroad-based stock plan, and deferred compensation plan. - Ensures the market competitiveness of Executive compensation and benefits programs. - Oversees financial counseling, and other personal benefits for executives. Desired Qualifications: - Typically requires 10 or more years of executive compensation design, delivery, and communication experience. - Supervisory experience within core human resources functions (e.g., Benefits, Total Rewards, Compensation, etc.) - A passion for finding creative compensation solutions and innovative ideas. - Bachelor’s or Advanced degree preferred. AT&T will consider for employment qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal, state, and local laws. Our AVP Executive Compensation salary is between $210,600 - $316,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
