The private equity funds team is responsible for manager evaluation and selection on behalf of Northwestern Mutual Capital. A Principal will be expected to conduct due diligence, author investment memos, lead investment committee discussions, and develop relationships with senior level executives, placement agents, and private equity sponsors. Principals are also responsible for monitoring investments, performing portfolio analytics, and portfolio modeling, as well as conducting research on private markets. The Principal, operating in a team environment, will be given increasing responsibility over time and high performers can expect significant career advancement opportunities.
