Business Analyst is responsible to business needs, identify solution and delivery the solution

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage product

  • Represent business
  • Responsible for maximizing the business value of the product
  • Responsible for creating the product backlog items and prioritization
  • Ensuring that the product backlog is visible and clear to all
  • Ability to take decision
  • Effectively communicate with all related parties to: Achieve business needs request & Define user story/business requirement
  • Understand the business flows
  • Build the business case
  • Design solution
  • To work closely with business segments to ensure consultation processes are carried out correctly and in a timely manner
  • To work strategically and operationally with business segments in a business partnering capacity to ensure IT support is provided to enable them to meet their needs and objectives
  • Managing, monitoring and tracking of the deliveries

2. Value Delivery

  • Business Process enhancement
  • Security
  • Risk Management
  • Quality Management
  • Integrated Change and Configuration Management
  • Performance and capacity planning with IT Infrastructure
  • Project consulting: solutions, Six Sigma, etc.

3. Monitor and Control

  • Project Budget
  • SLA Fulfillment
  • Reporting weekly and monthly updates
  • Maintenance of IT Users List Request
  • Quality of deliveries

3. Reporting

  • Weekly progress report
  • At least monthly report to PIC of department
  • Support Regional report (if needed)

4. Team Management

  • Knowledge to manage team
  • Managing Manager
  • Monitor and track team’s work (internal or external resources)
  • Performance Management
  • Coaching the team

Job Specification:

Qualification:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Ability to understand business needs match with the utilization of existing system capability
  • Able to speak English
  • Able to write reports in English

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years experiences

Knowledge & Skill:

  • Life cycle framework
  • Business case development
  • Project Management
  • Good knowledge of insurance business
  • Good knowledge of all systems used in the company
  • Good knowledge of business process
