UI/UX Designer - Solution Analyst

The Team- Digital Customer

Our Digital Customer team focuses on designing and implementing sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures to bring customer strategies to life. Our ambition is to be the best in the world at driving customer transformation through the development of clever commercial strategies, distinctive experiences, and the application of digital technologies. We help make the “creative digital consultancy” real and in doing so, make new markets.

Professionals will serve our clients through the following types of work: 

  • Sales Excellence & Service Excellence | delivers sales and service strategies and plans, operating model definition, incentive design and implementation, and operations support for digitally-enabled sales, channel, and customer service capabilities
  • Digital Experience | creates engaging omni-channel digital experiences across web, mobile, AR/VR, voice, gesture, IoT, and video
  • Flexible Consumption | the commercial strategy, operating model definition, and capability delivery of subscription/flexible consumption business models
  • Digital Foundry | a flexible, end-to-end delivery model emphasizing innovation and disruption
  • DigitalMix | an integrated set of platforms to enable business re-platforming

Work you’ll Do:

  • Act as a contributing designer on projects, working with design leads to present work across design, UX, and development teams
  • Collaborate with other designers on the team to support ongoing initiatives across the project lifecycle including launch of new MVPs and prototypes OR feature updates and maintenance releases of established products
  • Create strong visual designs (mockups, wireframes, prototypes) that are on brand for our clients and follow a project’s creative vision and business strategy while putting the user first
  • Collaborate with other groups like developers, functional analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality creative for both internal and client-facing projects
  • Work on projects of varying length and complexity
  • Contribute to improvements in our creative process and capabilities
  • You will have the opportunity to showcase your storytelling and communication skills as part of the team that delivers UI/UX improvements for our clients

Required Qualifications - What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field, such as visual design or software development
  • 2+ years of related design experience, e.g. as a User Experience (UX) / User Interface (UI) Designer
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your personal style and proficiency in designing amazing responsive web or mobile apps
  • Experience working in Figma, with knowledge of other design applications such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and inVision
  • Experience with agile methodology principles and iterative product development
  • Experience with user-centered design principles and techniques for designing web application experiences
  • Must be able to obtain public trust
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • Expected to co-locate in your designated office/USDC location up to 30% of the time
  • Must live in a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry-recognized training in accessible design, such as W3C’s “Introduction to Web Accessibility” course
  • Completion of an industry-recognized UX/UI course, such as Grow with Google’s UX Design Certification or Salesforce’s UX Designer Certification
  • Experience designing UI for a specific technology, such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Appian
  • Experience with Tenets & Traps methodology
  • Knowledge of how design systems are used for enterprise level experiences
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile app design, including Material Design and Apple’s Human Interface Design guidelines
  • Experience creating or working with atomic design component libraries
  • Experience creating icons and other custom illustrations for digital experiences
  • Experience in defining the information architecture for digital experiences
  • Ability to use motion tools like Adobe After Effects, Principle for Mac, and Framer to communicate interaction design and motion
