Job Description:

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for creating and architecting new mobile applications, improving existing features on existing applications, and working with our dedicated team to develop innovative fintech solutions for our clients. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications for the Android platform ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features tailored for our suite of financial products.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation, and conduct regular software audits to ensure smooth functionality.
• Write unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven working experience in software development, with a specific focus on Android development. Published Android apps in the Play store is a plus.
• Proficient with Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SKD, Jetpack Compose, as well as threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and Agile methodologies.
