The Job

As a Corp IT, Tax - Lead Analyst, you’ll be part of our Corp IT, Tax team located in Shanghai. You’ll get to: 

  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
  • Analyzes business needs and leads the creation of software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepares flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
  • Responsible for preparing design documentation and ensuring that functional and technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Designs, and documents software/solution according to SBD-IT systems standards, policies and procedures. 
  • Leads necessary testing activities and provide guidance on configuration and coding when needed.
  • Provides technical assistance where needed to ensure timely resolution of incidents or issues.
  • Ensures execution plan is on track and reports any major deviations in budget or timeline.
  • Effectively plans and integrates new products with the existing IT landscape.
  • Review, guide, troubleshoot and resolve contentious issues escalated during implementation.
  • Leads the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations.
  • Enable building of knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domain areas.
  • Leads tasks with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other relevant stakeholders to enable a smooth deployment.
  • Continuously works on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems.
  • Works with outside partners to ensure SBD requirements are met.

The Person

  • Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience. 1-3 years of leadership experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of application and system integration methods and computing environments.
  • Expertise must include:
  • Basic Tax and Statutory Compliance knowledge.
  • SAP FICO Background.
  • SAP Finance SD and/or MM Background and integration with Finance module.
  • High level understanding of Order to Cash process and impact on tax calculation and filing.
  • High level understanding of Procure to Pash process and impact on tax calculation and filing.
  • Experience with Electronic Invoicing and Tax Online Filing.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Deadline oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
