PURPOSE STATEMENT

Seeking a college student for an internship pursuing a degree in a drafting related field.

This position is intended for the summer 2024 term.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Drawing Database Project:
  • Establish a database / shared drive for all CAD files.
  • Determine plant priority / schedule.
  • Evaluate and edit the draft nomenclature protocols. 
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the assigned category, plant process engineer, plant engineer, and/or plant maintenance manager to retrieve all drawings related to target plant(s) from personal computers and jump drives.
  • Once drawings are received, review, edit, rename as appropriate and file in database.
  • If any drawings are not electronic, receive hardcopies, scan them using plotter, edit as required, and save to the database.
  • Research and evaluate available CAD databases on the market. Provide a recommendation, including costs, on a long-term solution.
  • Assist engineers with potential line layouts. Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers. 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Must be pursuing a college degree in a drafting/engineering related field.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$20.00 - $25.00
