JOB TITLE 

FP&A UCAN Pharmaceuticals Finance Commercial SFA

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position will interact with the pharmaceuticals global commercial finance and FP&A stakeholders, the FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team, as well as the broader Americas Finance community. This position will support one of the business portfolios of Baxter by owning the P&L forecasting planning and analysis, budget execution and reporting preparation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The UCAN Pharmaceuticals FP&A SFA role will be responsible for contributing to financial planning and reporting activities and provide strategic support Baxter’s commercial organization. The elected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial and business expertise to provide data insights to senior management
  • Support commercial team and business by providing analysis, reporting services and presentation materials for the month end close materials, quarterly review materials and Forecast/ Annual planning scenarios
  • Drive and commit to process standardization
  • Responsible for budget and forecast data preparation and system load
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation
  • Help transform the finance organization mindset from backward-looking to forward-looking
  • Shaping and delivering key metrics, reports and indicators to facilitate decision making processes across teams
  • Perform strategic ad hoc reporting with heavy financial analysis tracking business performance to facilitate decision making and business support

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in commerce, MBA/CA/CMA preferred 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 yr work experience in financial planning and reporting
  • English Advanced level B2+ -C1
  • Expert in technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting
  • Excellent financial modeling skills preferred, experience in statistical modeling techniques is a plus
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office. Highly desirable knowledge in BI tools
  • Attention to detail, good problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Self-starter with excellent attitude, analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
  • Collaborative and teamwork oriented
  • Good interpersonal relationships
  • Medical devices/ Pharmaceuticals industry knowledge – experience preferred
