Sales Support Coordinator

Greensboro or Wilmington, NC

As our Sales Support Coordinator at Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will work directly with our Employee Health & Benefits Sales team providing the administrative support, allowing our Sales team to efficiently and effectively grow revenue. The Sales Support Coordinator will work with a diverse population of internal and external clients. While not a direct sales position, you will have the ability to impact revenue by understanding deliverables for prospective clients and ensuring timely delivery. To thrive in this role you don’t need any direct insurance experience - we’ll teach you what you need to know and will support you as you obtain your Life & Health licensure. Successful candidates will have an understanding of sales processes and experience providing support to such processes. You should know how to work under pressure and want to our team win! Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Coordinating sales processes and ensures project plans are adhered to and remain current.
  • Preparing presentations for prospects in concert with Marketing, including assisting with content, leading PowerPoint slide development, printing, binding and other applicable tasks.
  • Managing touchpoints with prospects, such as email campaigns, follow-up notes, and coordinating Sales team meetings with engaged prospects who have agreed to meet.
  • Managing Linkedin for Sales team, both in terms of content on firm’s site and each producer’s site to promote capabilities for prospects to view, as well as leading extensive research on prospects, board members of clients, and other relevant parties to provide critical knowledge and connections for producers.
  • Conducting research on companies, including leveraging company tools to assess current consulting arrangements, competitor compensation and other relevant information.
