BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a System Analyst SAP / FICO at our PDS SLP Plant in Mexico.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Sr. Manager, IT; the System Analyst SAP / FICO will be primarily responsible for the SAP Functional Analyst for the FICO modules will provide knowledge and expertise in the SAP ERP environment in multiple functional areas with a FICO focus. This person is responsible for managing multiple and simultaneous projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating activities to meet SLP business requirements and project completion dates. This person will also provide continuous improvement coaching in multiple modules, but especially the Financial Accounting and Controlling modules of SAP. This role may also deliver hands-on support in the areas of data manipulation, migration, validation and analysis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Activities include championing the use of common concepts, standards, procedures and best practices within SAP. A successful candidate must be able to work well with end users to provide system support, while sharing knowledge and understanding. This person needs to have the ability to gather business requirements and convert them into development design/programming specifications. This role needs to be able to work independently while gathering requirements, performing functional testing, and, creating documentation, and conducting end user training. This person should also be experienced in SAP customizing/configuration and able to work modifications through the SAP landscape in alignment with the BorgWarner core team. This person will work towards continuous improvement in processes and end-user skill levels, diligently pursuing enhancements to ensure the system is being used properly and fully to meet the business needs.
The SAP Functional Analyst will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive business relationships throughout the business community, consistently adding value back to the business by leveraging their knowledge and experience to manage multiple projects. This person will work with both internal or external design/implementation teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge gap between design, content and technology. They will also work with a distributed team to provide this support across North America, focusing on the 2 PDS plants in Mexico. Travel will be required up to 5% of their time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, other related technical degree, Accounting, or Finance; MBA a plus
Experience time in similar position: 5+ years of SAP experience in multiple modules; especially FICO
