Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day clinical management of a select group of patients along with an identified Physician Director. This position has prescriptive authority. This position will also be the oncology system educator directing and developing standards of care for oncology education for the service line.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree: Nursing (Required)ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association, CCRN - Critical Care Registered Nurse - American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist - National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, COA - Certificate of Authority as CNS - State of Ohio, ONS1 - Oncology Nursing Society - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Holds a current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio. Nursing. Certificate of Authority (COA) as a CNS through the Ohio Board of Nursing. specialty Certification in area of expertise (i.e., , CNRN, CCRN). ACLS Certification . In-depth knowledge and demonstrated expertise in area of clinical specialization. Demonstrated exceptional IPR and problem-solving skills. Three to five years clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting. Requires prescriptive authority.
