We are currently hiring for a Senior Business Systems Analyst

Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst, spearheading the analysis and management of advanced-level business requirements throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, driving system enhancements, and recommending efficient technical solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders for detailed system requirements and analyze and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead requirements workshops, create business process modeling, and write detailed functional specifications for new and modified information systems
  • Prepare test cases, conduct peer reviews to ensure information systems conform to specifications and ensure that processes are followed. 
  • Participate with analysis of business requirements and recommend effective, efficient, flexible technical solutions to meet business needs and design system solutions, including data models, software configurations, and integrations. 
  • Assist in managing third-party relationships and investigate emerging technologies.
  • Remain aware of industry trends and best practices to suggest improvements and drive innovation.
  • Perform work within the full range of project development methodologies, including waterfall and Agile methods. Help lead teams on their transition from waterfall to agile. 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices; Improve innovation by driving new ideas and challenging assumptions
  • Understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts for data warehousing
  • Knowledge of all aspects of requirements development, business process modeling, functional system design, implementation and support
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, programming, or business
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and 10 years of professional experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, wireframing, and requirements gathering tools 
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban 
  • Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics to senior staff
