Gynecologic Oncology Faculty

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an additional faculty member for our Division of Gynecologic Oncology.

We seek an individual with an interest in clinical practice, teaching, and research. A successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and teaching skills, will be Board Certified or a candidate for Certification in Gynecologic Oncology, and eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Academic rank within the Department of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Dedicated research time and support is available and will be consistent with the applicants' research experience and interest. Salary is competitive.

Our Gynecologic Oncology service is long-standing, and offers the full range of operative procedures - including minimally invasive surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Our faculty is actively involved in the education of MetroHealth's Ob/Gyn Residents and Case Western Reserve University medical students. Our Ob/Gyn Residency attracts highly competitive candidates, many who have gone on to obtain Fellowships, including in Gynecologic Oncology.

Opportunities for basic and/or translational research and collaborations are available within MetroHealth Cancer Center's Cancer Biology program, our Population Health Research Institute, and within the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our Department has a long history of funded research, currently including: the Eunice Kennedy Shriver NICHD-MFMU and NuMoM2b-HSS2 Research Networks. The Gynecologic Oncology Division is active in Gynecology Oncology Group and industry-sponsored clinical trials. Opportunities for basic and/or translational research and collaborations are available within MetroHealth Cancer Center's Cancer Biology program, our Population Health Research Institute, and in the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Case Western Reserve University CTSA-Clinical Research Unit and Center for Reproductive Health at MetroHealth Medical Center also offer support for clinical and bench research.
