Established in 1996, Protein Technologies Ingredients Group (“PTI”), was a company engaged in the development, manufacture, and marketing of unique and innovative Savory Solutions (the non-sweet spectrum) that include flavors, seasoning compounds and functional raw materials for the food industry (including unique protein-based ingredients, which are manufactured using advanced technology), with a special emphasis on the processed meat and convenience food industry. PTI was acquired by Frutarom in 2016 and became part of IFF in 2018 with the acquisition of Frutarom by IFF. PTI is part of the Nourish division of IFF and geographically it is part of Europe.

The PTI Group operates a production site in Serpukhov, not far from Moscow. The group has around 350 employees in the various disciplines such as sales and marketing, production, R&D and Admin. The office location for this role is Vladivostok.

And now, we are looking for a Senior Technical Sales Manager to join our team.

In this role you will be our feet on the ground and will physically be at our office in Vladivostok. The profile allows for partially remote office once the position is established. You will be functionally reporting into the Senior Area Sales Manager.

The position requires providing strong and insightful qualities such as communication, stress tolerance, flexibility, and perseverance.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Negotiations with clients.
  • Consulting/informing clients on our products and technologies in the meat, fish, and gastronomic industries.
  • Working with commercial proposals.
  • Maintaining primary documentation when replacing the head/logistics manager during vacation. 
  • Fulfillment of the sales plan. 
  • Working with accounts receivable. 
  • Negotiations with clients. Identifying needs. Conducting industrial developments according to the identified needs of clients in the region.
  • Consulting/informing clients on our products and technologies in the meat industry.
  • Business trips 1-2 weeks per month.

Job Requirements

  • We will rely on your minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience with similar responsibilities.
  • You have formal education and/or training in higher education. An educational background in Food Technology/ Food Science is a must.
  • We will rely on your ability to work with and understand modern reporting tools such Exсel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Experience with 1С is required.
  • You are a team player, and you are comfortable in a multinational diverse environment.
  • You have highly developed communication skills and ability to communicate/present data to professionals with different backgrounds.
  • Fluency in native language.
  • Fluency in English is a plus.
