The Vice President of Integrated Consumer Marketing is a new position that will focus on leading integrated marketing strategy, planning and execution among Generac consumers to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. As the VP, you will build a talented team, and collaborate with other marketing and cross-functional stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced VP that has worked with long sales cycle categories, is comfortable with change, and wants to build and grow teams, capability, and processes. The VP is a key member of the marketing leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive consumer marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement for always on communication, and commercial and product innovation initiatives.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful implementation of marketing plans, and influence multi-functional marketing partners.
  • Use market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, insights, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and other cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing strategies and briefs that that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising.
  • Drive brand awareness and recognition through effective messaging, storytelling, and creative campaigns.
  • Partner with marketing leaders to monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts and maximize ROI.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in consumer marketing to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns.
  • 1Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Minimal Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

Work Experience

Fifteen years of experience executing consumer marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree

  • Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a history of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
