About This Role:

The Marketing Manager oversees global marketing to promote our architectural lighting products. This includes planning and executing all facets of marketing, including product launches, communications, literature, advertising, campaigns, sales programs, lead management, tradeshows, web management and beyond. The Lumascape Marketing Manager directs and implements the strategy and budget to tactically gain share in the lighting marketplace. This role has no planned direct reports.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

  • Manages the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to introduce new products and increase sales of existing products in the marketplace. Works with Product Management and Sales to align on all communications, literature, product information, promotional items, direct mail, training incentives, sampling programs, and more.
  • Oversees strategic plans, cost estimates, analysis of effectiveness and ROI of all campaigns while maintaining a close understanding of corporate sales objectives, and current sales performance.
  • Manages market research activities related to the development of new products, measurement of customer preferences and satisfaction, and market share, size, trend, and mix factors. Responsible for market opportunity report.
  • Manages corporate communications including new product launches/updates and company news using email, social media, press releases, and editorial articles.
  • Organizes content direction for social, advertising, photography, training and editorial, including planning, design, placement, posting, post promotion, and maintenance of relationships with a variety of media outlets.
  • Works closely with global sales staff and agency distribution partners to provide regional marketing support, including tradeshows, regional events, localized literature, web content and campaigns.
  • Manages web content and ensures timely updates across all regional websites. Works to maintain consistency in messaging and branding while maximizing the effectiveness of online presence in each target market.
  • Oversee CRM operations, encompassing the management of both customer and project lead databases. Responsibilities include optimizing data organization and utilization to enhance customer relationships and project management efficiency.
  • Manages promotional and tradeshow materials including vendor relationships, contract negotiations, pricing negotiations, inventory reporting, storage, shipping, and internal alignment on use.

Education/Training Required and Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent education and work experience.

Experience Required and Preferred:

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in Marketing Management.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and require team-oriented leadership, awareness, sensitivity, and flexibility. Ability to deliver effective customer relations and service. Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Problem solving skills related to problem analysis, planning and organization, decisiveness, decision making, and judgment are required. Requires excellent work standards, initiative, and persuasiveness.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database marketing, campaign management, statistical analysis, and web-based training applications.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally. 
  • Strong financial background with ability to track and measure results of programs, formulates forecasts, 
  • Extensive knowledge in marketing and corporate communications practices and technologies including press release platforms, social media, html email design, and project management software.
  • Thorough knowledge of lighting markets preferred and knowledge of products that relate to the market.
  • Prior experience with Lightfair, LEDucation, Lightapolooza, agency specification.
  • Knowledge of consumer product marketing.
  • Bi-Lingual / fluent in secondary language.

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $69,975 to $104,880

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
