Manager, Operations and Transformation Strategy - Organizational Change Management (Hybrid)

This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York City. Hybrid in-office expectations.

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Manager, Operations and Transformation Strategy to join our team! With a organizational change management focus, this role will work on the Operations and Transformation team focused on implementing the long-term Lace Up Plan within Foot Locker Inc. This role will work enterprise-wide with key cross-functional leaders to track our progress and propose options. This team member will oversee multiple projects at once focused on growing the business, optimizing cost, and driving transformation within the brand. You will need to have strong experience in creating presentation materials and comfortable communicating with organizational leadership in this role. Your internal title would be Operations and Transformation Strategy Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and implementation strategies around key strategic initiatives for Foot Locker, Inc.
  • Provide communication, documentation, and everyday management of projects, while ensuring that all project products and services are risk, time-line, budget, and scope managed
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control and close projects
  • Perform quality assurance and risk management
  • Project budget and scheduling estimation and management
  • Lead critical initiatives, in partnership with cross-functional leaders across the company on key strategy topics, inclusive of project planning, structured problem solving and analytics, business case development, cost benefit evaluation, evaluation of financial return and implementation planning
  • Conduct status review meetings with team members and clients
  • Prepare materials and presentations for the Executive Leadership team members and their teams including business cases and Board of Director materials using PowerPoint in a quick and concise fashion
  • Build communication and internal training including presentations, emails, micro-site, forums, tutorials, videos, etc.
  • Be a cheerleader and change agent for the organization, celebrating wins and looking for opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Drive awareness and adoption of Foot Locker's Lace Up/Transformation plan to the broader organization utilizing a regular cadence of events and updates
  • Create new, fun and exciting content that drives culture and engagement within Foot Locker, Inc.
  • Work with cross-functional partners and corporate communications to enhance our adoption and culture

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years related work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a strategy role (Top-tier strategy consulting, Investment banking, or other corporate strategy experience)
  • Expert in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to leverage data to identify opportunities, drive strategic insights, and create leadership presentations
  • Retail experience a plus
  • Experience with project management
  • Enterprise thinker who is highly collaborative and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with complex problems and present recommendations and findings in a clear, concise format
  • Detailed-oriented, technically adept and ability to multitask
  • A strong personal commitment to quality service and teamwork
  • Get it done attitude.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $85000-$105000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
