Overview:

vineyard vines is seeking candidates for a Senior Manager role on our IT team. This role will report to the Senior Director of IT Application Delivery & Support. As the Integration Architect and Administrator, you will be a key member of our IT department, responsible for both the day-to-day administration and support of our existing legacy point-to-point integrations, as well as contributing to the development and execution of our strategic integration vision. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless and efficient data exchange across our systems.

Technical remit includes (but is not limited to):

  • Legacy Point-to-Point Integration – Administration and improvement of existing historic integration which support Merchandising, Inventory Control and Financial business processes
  • Centric High-Speed Exporter (HSE) – Lead and implement this Centric integration platform as one element of a larger product flow integration transformation (outbound from Centric to major downstream applications)
  • Product Flow Transformation Strategy & Solution Delivery – Assist in the evaluation of strategic technology options and the delivery of new integration solutions for improving stability and capability in the way we flow product data from the upstream Centric PLM system (product development) to our downstream systems. These include our Omni Digital platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), our Omni Point of Sale & Order Management platform (Manhattan Active Omni), our key wholesale digital and order management platforms (NuOrder and BlueCherry), our commercial transactional hub (MMS) and our enterprise Business Intelligence platform (Power BI on Databricks / Azure)Options currently under consideration include expanding the use of our Profisee master data management (MDM) platform or leveraging an enterprise service bus (ESB).
  • New Product Flow Interfaces – Configure, administer and optimize the new product-related interfaces on an on-going basis.

You Will:

  • Thought leadership and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in industry best-practice integrations
  • Lead the design and implementation of our transformation to a new product flow-related integration architecture. Going forward, we envisage the opportunity to expand the scope of this role to other major data flows (e.g., Customer)
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define integration requirements and map out integration flows.
  • Develop integration standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability.
  • Oversee the ongoing stability, performance, and security of existing point-to-point integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner to minimize business disruptions
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address integration bottlenecks or failures.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners using the integrations.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the existing integration landscape, including its components, data flows, and underlying technologies.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure integration components are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.
  • Drive the successful execution of integration projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Ensure all IT project integrations meet company policies and align with strategic vision
  • Identity, assemble, and review all Interface Control Documents at system level
  • Manage vendor partner relationships, resource planning, work planning and assignments, cost tracking and performance management.
  • Manage business partner relationships and communications including the development of business cases for potential initiatives, providing guidance on opportunities to leverage technology to help achieve business goals, communicating regular updates regarding solution delivery and support agendas and helping to forge cross-functional alignment where necessary.
  • Partner closely with other IT teams, including the other IT application delivery & support teams, the IT Infrastructure & Security team, the IT Help Desk team, and the IT PMO team to ensure the IT team as a whole delivers well against the overall project and support agenda.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the department.

What you bring:

  • A Subject Matter Expert in enterprise system integration, design and administration
  • BS or BA degree, preferably in computer science or information systems
  • Proven experience (5+ years) with hands-on experience in developing, configuring and maintaining integration solutions in challenging transactional scenarios and complex IT environments.
  • Expertise in integration technologies, such as APIs, ESBs, message brokers, and middleware.
  • Experience in Centric integrations, in particular Centric’s High Speed Exporter (HSE) would be an attractive plus.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in integration, e.g., Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience with modern ESB platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead integration projects from conception to implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align technical decisions with business goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in integration technologies are a plus.
  • A high level of accountability and teamwork skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for solving problems
  • Flexibility to handle a dynamic environment with multiple priorities in play at once
