Who You'll Work With

You will be based in the Stamford location and be part of the Administrative Support Services team. A Relief Executive Assistant (REA) is a key contributor to our Administrative Support Services Team and will provide executive-level administrative support to 1-2 partners as assigned based on coverage needs. EAs report to Manager of Administrative Services & Regional Manager of Administration.

The partners’ network includes their teams, practices, and internal colleagues. You will work with partners, colleagues and EAs globally.

What You'll Do

You will build ongoing rapport with assigned partners, their clients, client assistants, internal colleagues, and other EAs. You will serve as a liaison and representative for the partners in dealing with clients, internal and external customers, and others while maintaining the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.

You will proactively, timely and with high quality, provide broad administrative support to help organize and leverage partner time effectively. Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: heavy calendar management; arranging often complex international and local travel; organizing and maintaining all client and internal files with firm authorized system; meeting, event, and conference planning; coordinating logistics and technology for video conferences of all sizes; preparation and submission of timesheets and expenses; manage/monitor WIPs (client accounting statements/invoices) upon request, complete miscellaneous printing, copying and mailing.

You will manage and maintain all written communications, including responding to and composing correspondence that does not require the personal attention of the Partner or other consultants, as well as that which requires their signature. You will also produce accurate, properly formatted, typed documents (LOPs, client letters/memos, PowerPoint decks, etc.) under normally tight time constraints.

You will be an integral part of the Administrative Services Team who evolves in the role by demonstrating firm values and engaging in learning opportunities. Your manager will provide guidance, suggested learning, and manage assignments which could shift daily or weekly. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in meeting peak work demands, complete projects and other tasks, and actively participate in team meetings and different training sessions.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate environment working with senior-level executives
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment and impeccable discretion; maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Quickly adapt to changing priorities, identify conflicts, and proactively suggest resolutions
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, able to solve complex problems independently
  • Capacity to work overtime as needed
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and team skills
  • Proactive; self-starter with an approachable “can do” customer service mindset and a positive attitude
  • Calm, professional, self-confident demeanor with a high work ethic
  • Strong command of the English language and prose
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications
