PURPOSE

As an Assistant Product Owner at Digital Brand Solutions, you support and closely collaborate with the Product Owner who is responsible for the quality and strategic impact of a medium or complex digital product. Together with your agile team, you work on continuously improving and evolving the assigned digital product in order to maximize the value for all internal user groups.

Assisting the product owner via active communication with all user groups, executing business support tasks, conducting user training, and contributing to new functionalities are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Strategy & Delivery
  • Contribute to the optimization of the product’s value for the consumer and the company.
  • Monitor product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates. Raise delivery issues on-time.
  • Support the specification of user stories where required.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Actively communicate with all user groups and the wider company regarding the product, its features and release plans.
  • Backlog Management
  • Contribute to prioritizing the items in the product backlog. Specify the definition-of-done for backlog items in cooperation with the Product Owner and the product team.
  • Support the refinement of the product backlog in collaboration with the (Sr.) Product Owner to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.
  • Training & support
  • Create / update training material and conduct user trainings where needed.
  • Manage & respond to business & process related questions which are raised by the user community. Responsible to solve process & business-related issues and address technical support issues on time.
  • Change & Process Management
  • Contribute to promote the product across the user community and beyond.
  • Identify & support the need for new or improved processes to ensure an efficient product. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Analytical mindset, innovative thinker and collaborator
  • Good communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Solution oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good domain knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
  • Experience with 3D programs. (Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher, Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar tools) 
  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
  • Basic understanding of IT products and capabilities
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • University degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Brand and/or Digital environment
  • Experience in working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels.
