POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Sales oversees the Field Sales functions and is responsible for the development and maintenance of profitable volume in an assigned geographic region. Guides the work of employees, as well as working directly with customers, to achieve sales and business objectives. Responsible for driving and sustaining a high growth, customer-centric team that thrives on professionalism and promotes operational excellence while overseeing, managing, and fully executing on account targeting and team selling strategies. 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day leadership of Divisional Vice Presidents and coordination of the Specialty Leaders to provide them with management guidance, strategies for regional growth, and operational assistance that drives local market density. Actively coach and assist team members to ensure a common vision and team understanding strategy and business practices. 
  • Builds a framework to operationalize our sales assets, measure and report out. The framework should be consistent across all 8 divisions and brings collaboration with Operations and operations leadership.
  • Develops annual sales and operational plans/budgets in support of organizational strategy and objectives. 
  • Develops or adopt a strong account retention strategy across all divisions to increase customer satisfaction, renewals, and retention.
  • Embraces and sells value not solely price. Is a catalyst to change culture on price and enables price increases and value creation for our customers. Creates Win-Win agreements between our customers and Agiliti.
  • Improves and refines processes to increase sales, gain operational efficiencies and manages reduce cost. 
  • Builds and leverages strong direct relationships with key customers. Participates with team in customer interactions at strategic and “high value” accounts to ensure that customer expectations and performance objectives are being met/exceeded. 
  • Attracts, recruits, and retains proven industry top talent to the region. 
  • Ensures timeliness of region-wide performance appraisals and overall commitment to talent management processes. 
  • Implements the appropriate professional development tools and training to maximize effectiveness and to ensure the achievement of employee goals and performance benchmarks. 
  • Travels frequently to districts and divisions. Working with teams and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year college degree
  • 7+ years leading Sales leaders in the healthcare sector
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

  • Ability to successfully negotiate and close a deal.
