Amazon has flagged the Product Manager - Video Delivery Platform job as unavailable. Let’s keep looking.

DESCRIPTION

AWS Elemental is an Amazon Web Services company that combines deep video expertise with the power and scale of the cloud. We are looking for a senior Product Management leader to define, build, and ship our strategy for live/linear video technology over the next decade of media innovation.

Our customers cover a wide range of video producers and distributors, from the top global names in Media and Entertainment, enterprise, and MVPDs all the way to local governments and educators, as well as the startups who will build the next great platform. The common thread is high quality video distribution, and AWS Elemental is central to helping these customers develop new and innovative ways to deliver their content to end users.

In this role, you'll be leading a team of experienced product managers focused on our linear video technologies. You'll be responsible for our strategy on contribution and distribution encoding, IP video transport, enabling cloud video production, and meeting the needs of our customers both on-premises and in AWS. You'll bring your expertise in these areas to develop the skills of your team and their peer engineering teams, and you'll apply their input into building the strategy and message you present to our customers.

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Key job responsibilities

  • Hire and manage the careers of top product management talent
  • Be the primary interface for our strategic customers to feed requirements into the product lines
  • Enable our go-to-market teams with the training, collateral, and the understanding they need to scale our product lines
  • Provide firm reporting and planning on business growth to the wider AWS audience
  • Drive partnerships with the other teams at Amazon who we depend on, and who depend on us to deliver the best customer outcomes.
