The Role:

The Employee Insights Researcher & Writer – Graduate Intern will support our HR team with projects tied to understanding, showcasing, and improving our work culture. Specifically, this role will partner with our Talent Operations and Talent Development teams to collect employee stories to include in our external employer awards (e.g. Great Place to Work certification) and make recommendations on how to continue our cultural transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, coordinate, and host internal employee focus groups and individual interviews to collect employee stories for our Great Place to Work certification submission
  • Write and edit our application submission that details our company’s programs and practices in partnership with the HR team
  • Assist in planning and executing our employee survey
  • Support on the analysis and visualization of employee feedback from our survey data to share back with HR leaders and business leaders
  • Research and present new ideas that support a cohesive and empowered culture

Qualifications:

  • Full-time graduate student pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Communications, Journalism, or HR related field at an accredited program in the United States
  • Ability to conduct thorough and accurate research with minimal error in data and to present findings in a clear and meaningful way
  • Proven strength in written and verbal communications; accuracy and quality are non-negotiables to you
  • Ability to be flexible in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong planning and project management skills including organize/prioritize work, management multiple tasks and projects, and function effectively as a self-directed leader or multiple initiatives
  • Experience in/with the following preferred: public relations, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field
