The Leidos team supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Operational Energy has an opening for an Air Force Operational Energy Data Analyst at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain SAF/IE’s Operational Aviation Energy Program data and analysis capability in support of current operations and other divisions as required, including data collection and consolidation, exploratory data analysis and operations research, cost/benefit analysis, support of software development projects, and monitoring and measurement of project performance. 
  • Provide support to data collection, ingestion, and storage efforts, including computation of key performance indicators.
  • Analyze operations and fuel consumption to develop strategies, processes, and other interventions to improve energy intensity of operations.
  • Provide technical advice regarding software projects and initiatives supported by the operational energy program, including optimization targets.
  • Develop and track cost/benefit analyses of operational energy projects, including new or proposed technologies.
  • Evaluate performance of initiatives and their fuel efficiency impacts

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in data analysis or energy economics with minimum 10 years of applicable experience.
  • DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience working with the USAF and/or Department of Defense.
  • Experience with: Python, Databricks, SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with QLIK and Tableau

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
