Job description

In your new role you will:

  • You will be part of a global automotive applications team and you will be working with colleagues and customers on developing their latest innovations based on the AURIX microcontroller.
  • Your role includes understanding device internals and end-applications, ownership of customer use-cases with respect to low-level drivers, utility tools using scripting, and closely working with global customers to help them evaluate Infineon automotive microcontrollers.
  • You will support our customers’ software design-in with detailed product expertise of Infineon 32bit microcontrollers, interact with developers and with the technical team and ensure a high level of software quality.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science ideally with focus on low-level firmware / software aspects of embedded systems
  • Bring at least 6 years of experience in automotive software projects
  • Bring along deep embedded software development knowledge in C ideally on both, application and low-level side, profiling and solid debugging skills
  • Familiarity with computer system architecture, and microcontroller fundamentals (buses, caches etc)
  • Active involvement in testing and debugging of low-level drivers (e.g. DMA/ADC/PWM/Flash etc)
  • Exposure to AURIX microcontroller family is an added advantage
  • Know about (automotive) communication protocols and (real-time)operating systems
  • Knowledge of MCAL, AUTOSAR integration techniques would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Safety analysis, and concepts is a PLUS
  • Able to understand the end system in addition to software implementation
  • Actively drive complex problems reported by customers to a solution
  • Enjoy travelling for work at least once in a while
  • Get your messages across in fluent English
