Qualifications

  • CCNA (Cisco) essential
  • CCNP Enterprise (Cisco) advantageous
  • A tertiary level of education in Information Technology, Computing or similar will be advantageous

Experience of 3 years or more essential

  • Network Engineer role or similar
  • Providing IT Support in a corporate environment
  • Server assembly, software installation, server operation, and debugging

Knowledge areas essential

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
  • Providing specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
  • Implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
  • Creating accurate network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems.
