Description

Given the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), all interviews will be conducted by phone or virtual connection to protect our candidates and employees.

You will:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the globe to identify innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of processes used by the Voice Operations team.
  • Get involved in software architecture discussions and decisions.
  • Develop backend components and full-fledged web services as well.
  • Help investigate, reproduce and fix user issues escalated to our team.
  • Follow software development guidelines, create tests for your components and improve test automation where possible, maintain your own tasks in the issue tracking system.
  • Work throughout the full project lifecycle from problem analysis to successful timely delivery of the solution.
  • Enable faster time to market whilst satisfying quality requirements as well throughout the process via DevOps practices.

Qualifications

You have: 

  • Experience in Python 3 application development
  • OOP object-oriented programming experience
  • Worked with relational databases
  • Used issue tracking (e.g. Jira, YouTrack, etc.), software version control (e.g. Git, Perforce, etc.)
  • Hands-on user experience with any Linux operating system.
  • Fluent in technical English, communicating with an international team.

You might also have: 

  • User level experience with continuous integration and delivery CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
  • Experience with no-SQL databases
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Unix shell scripting experience (e.g.: bash, korn, etc.)
  • Working in DevOps teams

Team Profile:

The ENS Voice Apps & Automation team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several tools and applications used mainly by the Voice Operations team. These systems are monitoring and managing various aspects of the Firm's global Voice Infrastructure like the usage of phone numbers ? providing features for number assignment, revocation, call routing, etc. Another system is a self-service portal available for everyone in the Firm, providing features to manage their own telephony settings.
