What you'll do:

As an Optometrist in this growing practice, you can look forward to a fulfilling day ahead, caring for all types of patients as each day brings something new. Whether it's conducting routine eye exams for young children, assisting seniors with age-related vision changes, or offering specialized treatments for patients with complex eye conditions, you'll relish the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. With access to Optos OCT, Matrix, visual field, corneal topography, and autorefractor, you’ll have the tools to ensure precise diagnoses and tailored solutions. Working closely with a team of talented professionals, including opticians and administrative staff, you'll collaborate seamlessly to create a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient. A typical day can consist of 10 patients and the position is part-time, 16 hours weekly.

You're a passionate and dedicated individual with a positive attitude driven to providing exceptional eye care and improving the vision health of the community. You have been exposed to scleral contact lens fitting and are looking to continue expanding your knowledge. You're highly skilled and capable of confidently handling a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups—consistently exceeding patient expectations. You’re also excited to support the practice’s goals of increasing sales and improving the patient experience. For the right professional, a potential future ownership opportunity may be available.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Licensed Optometrist in California 
  • Open to new grads 
  • Knowledgeable in scleral contact lens fittings 

Preferred Specialties: 

  • Gonioscopy 
  • Scleral depression 
  • Dilation, irrigation, and punctal occlusion skills are preferred
