Supervise a team of control tower operators/planners to ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders such as Strategic planning team, analyst, Transport operation team, etc., for smooth execution of projects.
Provide support in resolving any issues or challenges related to delays or other work-related concerns.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the centralized control tower operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Work closely with other departments within DHL Group such as IT, Transport operation, etc., to ensure seamless coordination across different functions.
Participate in regular meetings with management teams to discuss performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience working in a logistics/supply chain environment.
Experience working with tracking systems like TMS/WMS will be an added advantage
Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent attention-to-detail.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
