Main purpose of the FWRD Merchandising Intern:

This is an internship role for a candidate who is passionate and excited about merchandising for the FWRD customer. This position will be responsible for supporting the merchandising department with ongoing projects and needs as well as creating weekly curated pages for email and homepage features. An interest in creative copywriting is a plus!

The Details:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with the merchandising department to prepare landing pages that are curated based on trends and concepts of features for weekly e-mails and homepages
  • Work closely with the FWRD Merchandising and Buying teams to manage deadlines and needs for all Homepage and Emails feature inclusions
  • Follow best practices for merchandising pages for features, trends, brand page and custom pages
  • Support the buyers’ brand visions and work cross functionally with the buying team to improve conversion
  • Provide and maintain additional curated product pages for special launches, social or special projects in addition to regularly scheduled weekly features
  • Partner with site merchandising team to develop, improve and execute merchandising tools
  • Research current and upcoming trends in fashion and retail and best merchandising practices
  • Understand and monitor business trends and performance through homepage and CPL reporting

Required competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Time management skills and the ability to complete task under short deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the discipline to complete tasks independently
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to work in intense fast-paced environment and maintain the highest quality of work and focused visual aesthetics
  • A superb eye for attention to detail, style and composition
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and best practices
  • Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Interest and/or degree in merchandising
  • Knowledge of luxury fashion brands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently in school or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree fashion design, merchandising or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Google Drive, Excel, Gmail, Word & PowerPoint

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $17.30/hr - $17.30/hr
