The Marketing Program Specialist role is -

  • Reporting to the India SWA Marketing Manager
  • Event Management: Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and product launches. This includes coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
  • Budget Management: Supporting the marketing team in budget planning and tracking for marketing programs and campaigns. This involves monitoring expenses, optimizing spending, and providing regular updates on budget allocation and utilization.
  • Program Planning: Collaborating with the marketing team to develop strategic marketing plans and programs aligned with the overall marketing objectives and target audience. This will involve conducting market research, identifying customer insights, and defining program goals and KPIs.
  • Content Development: Creating and managing marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, social media content, and email newsletters. This will involve writing and editing content, optimizing it for search engine optimization (SEO), and ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. This includes monitoring industry developments, analyzing competitor strategies, and providing recommendations for marketing program improvements.
  • Social Media: Organic content- original & engaging- Consistent posting on pre-event/post event announcements /HR posts. Formulate a LinkedIn organic post plan and content calendar. Social media mentions using designated event hashtag on each platform.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and creative services, to ensure alignment and effectiveness of marketing programs. This includes regular communication, sharing of insights, and supporting the overall marketing strategy. SME/CoE Engagement.
  • Compliance Adherence/Legal & Regulatory: Ensure all the events comply to legal requirements. Maintain a tracker and ensure adherence to daily management. Thorough understanding of finance compliance framework and processes; ensuring timely approvals and transfer of sponsorship amount/vendor expenses.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated on marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. This includes participating in training programs, attending industry events, and seeking opportunities for professional development.

Overall, as a Marketing Program Specialist, the goal is to contribute to the success of marketing programs by effectively planning, executing, and analyzing marketing initiatives. The role plays a crucial part in driving brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement, ultimately contributing to the organization's growth and success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters in marketing with 5-6years’ experience in healthcare or life sciences
  • Excellent communication skills with English as a language are must.
  • Should have worked in a metrics driven environment.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Needs to be very good with MS office (Excel/Power-point) & basics of Adobe.
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Ability to plan and organize work.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
