Your Impact:

Our team is looking to add a Technical Specialist for Design Review in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program. The redevelopment will occur in the middle of an active airport. The existing terminal and concourses will remain operational while the new facility is built in place in a phased approach. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team. The position will report directly to the Design Manager. This position requires the individual to be based at the airport with the program management team. The position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by one of the JV partners.

Position Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Ability to think outside the box and stay highly organized
  • Process orientated with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with Review and coordination of plan documents a plus
  • Previous facilities design or program management experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with Bluebeam software a plus

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinates design reviews as necessary
  • Ensures quality is adhered to throughout design review process
  • Verifies projects comply with program and code requirements
  • Assesses potential risks, materials, schedule, and costs
  • Assists in the coordination for technical and management decision-making
  • Coordinates with and maintains frequent contact with the Management Team, Owner, Design Consultants and other project stakeholders
  • Clear communicator
  • Develops diagrams, graphics and reports to convey quality and status of the design review process
  • Database management
  • Design review schedule management and coordination
