Job Description and Duties

State Fund's Information Technology, Finance Legal and Admin Unit has immediate opening for a Java Developer to perform design, development, maintenance and support, and implementation of critical new Policy systems.

As a Java Developer, you will

  • Act as a Java developer in the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of programming solutions and enhancements of State Fund enterprise-wide applications/systems
  • Develop programming logic, coding, test data, program testing, program documentation, production problem analysis, debugging and rapid correction
  • Create, modify and publish documentation and act as a technical advisor/resource for IT staff and the business unit
  • Perform feasibility studies and research analysis and recommend opportunities to incorporate emerging technology tools, practices and techniques to improve the efficient delivery of business functions
