Group Product Manager - Digital Commerce 

(Plano Texas- Full-Time In-Office) 

Purpose /Job Summary 

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Group Product Manager to lead our dynamic team in shaping the future of our Digital Commerce Platform. As a leader and strategist, you will be responsible for the overall vision and success of our digital commerce products, overseeing a team of talented product managers and driving initiatives that fuel customer growth and business objectives. You will be seeking growth, innovation, and synergy opportunities across multiple lines of the business. 

This leadership role combines managing and developing people and being an individual contributor. You will be the ultimate owners for envisioning business needs and value across multiple products for Upbound’s Digital Commerce Platform.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables (Essential Functions) 

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for our digital commerce platform, aligning with overall company goals and market trends. 
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities to enhance our digital commerce offerings and user experience. 
  • Ensures every project within the platform is delivered within budget, timeline, and scope. 
  • Mentor and coach product managers within the digital commerce platform to boost their output as a unit. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch. 
  • Assisting in prioritizing individual product roadmaps when conflicts or resource constraints arise. 
  • Partnering with executive and senior-level management across the organization to ensure vision and strategy is executed. 
  • Maintains business and domain knowledge within the platform. 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including the executive level, keeping them informed of progress and challenges. 

Additional/Shared Responsibilities 

  • Supervising junior team members. 
  • Hiring and training new members of the product team. 
  • Collaborating with product leaders and internal teams to develop and update products that compete with market trends, keep the customers’ best interest at the forefront and improve profitability. 
  • Introducing and maintaining standards of the product management function to the business. 
  • Filling in as a product manager and providing coverage and flexibility for the team when needed. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in either an IT-related field or Business is preferred. 
  • 5+ years of product management experience in digital commerce with fluency in ecommerce and marketing technological components including order management, fulfillment, and customer communications. 
  • 3-5 years of experience working in B2C commerce industry. 
  • Experience with one or more commercial ecommerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud etc.) 
  • Experience and deep understanding of ecommerce data analytics, A/B testing, and other tools used for measuring and optimizing product performance. 
  • Strong technical background, including familiarity with web and mobile technologies. 
  • Executive presence with high business IQ. 
  • Excellent people-management skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication 
  • Dynamic leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members. 
  • Team player first and foremost and believes great things come from collaboration. 
  • A self-starter who is solution-oriented and able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Results-oriented and skilled at both planning and hands-on execution 
  • Able to balance creativity and analytical thinking.
